Introduction

WHAT IS PAIN?
Pain is always possible, but suffering is optional. A large percentage of what we call pain, or experience as pain, is actually suffering.

Imagine if you could reduce or even eliminate suffering from your experience.

Suffering is a reaction, it’s something that you do in response to something that you perceive as a problem. It is surplus to requirements and can be undone.

It is possible to reframe your understanding of pain and discover a different approach to your mental, emotional and physical state of being.

PEACE OR PAIN
This Facebook group is designed to support you in your meditation practice. As the title suggests, there is a choice – peace or pain. Pain is always possible, but suffering is optional. Suffering takes on the form of physical, mental or emotional pain.

A meditation practice and ongoing support within this group can (and does) help you to reduce suffering and gain an experience of peace. From a fleeting experience to a more deep and stable one. All it takes is the willingness to listen and explore along with the group.

There are cards posted weekly with tips and exercises to explore what is possible in your own experience. It is a safe space to ask questions and share your experience.

We all have challenges in life. However, everything is easier when we walk through life together as a community of souls who just want a better life.

MEDITATION FOR PAIN RELIEF AND WELLBEING – 18/05/2024

Whether you experience long term physical or acute pain, unpleasant body symptoms or simply want to improve your health, this course outlines the possibilities and options available to you. It will also guide you to the direct experience of peace, a relaxed body and improved functioning, as well as providing you with the know how to make the choice.

PAIN AWARENESS COURSE
6 Week Online Course – £135
Dates: Tuesdays from 09/04/2024 to 14/05/2024
Time: 5pm-6.15pm
This 6 week online course will be focused on your relationship with pain. Physical, mental and emotional pain.

The course will cover the following:
• Understanding the mechanics of pain
• Changing your relationship with pain
• Learning how to choose in the midst of intense pain
• Exercises and techniques to assist you in becoming present in your body
• Learning the difference between ignoring and allowing pain
• Exploring the role of emotions, thinking and resistance

Pain is subjective and happens in the brain. In order to change your relationship with pain it is very helpful to have ongoing guidance. So I created this 6 week course to support you in making the choice for peace, over an extended period of time.

As well as the 6 online sessions, there will be a private WhatsApp/Telegram group, where you can ask questions about the course content and your own individual experience with pain. This group will remain open for a while after the 6 week course ends for ongoing questions and sharing with each other. During the 6 weeks, I will post regularly in the WhatsApp/Telegram group to support and inspire you.

The sessions will be recorded so if you miss one you can watch the replay.

Feeling safe can play a big role in changing your relationship with pain, so the course will be limited to a small number in order for you to feel comfortable and able to connect and share with the other participants. Everything shared on the course will remain private and confidential.

PAIN AWARENESS AND WELLBEING – Date TBC
Weekend Workshop – £160
Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire

Healing through Sound, Meditation and Presence
Immerse yourself in two days of meditation, mindfulness, exercises and sound healing. By the end of the weekend you will have everything you need to continue your own journey in healing yourself from the inside out.

This weekend workshop will address the impact thought and emotion has on our body, which gives it a chance to heal and maintain itself more effectively. We will work with the mind and body’s natural tendencies to begin to reduce the negative impact on our body, symptoms and overall health.

Sound healing will include drumming, singing bowls and rattles to re-balance the mental, energetic, emotional and physical bodies. Meditation will guide our attention back to its natural focus on stillness, silence and space.

We will use a combination of these modalities and team them up with the theoretical understanding. This powerful combination has the greatest impact as we put into practise what we learn theoretically. The second day will build on the first day and you will leave with a greater understanding of what is happening, why it’s happening and how to change your approach.

A clearer understanding of what has an adverse effect on our body, means we complete the workshop with a fresh and practical understanding of how to move forwards into a new operating mode that is congruent with peace, good health and happiness.

1-2-1 Pain Management Sessions

ONLINE AND IN PERSON – £85 (£65 concessions)
Pain is commonplace these days. There are simple and easy ways to change how you experience pain and physical health. I can walk you through the process step by step in a 1-2-1 session. Ideally as a course of 6 sessions for maximum effect.

In the first session we look at what the problem is and how it is affecting you and your life-style. You will be provided with a solution that works for you, using various techniques and exercises. In the following sessions, you will use the techniques and different exercises to retrain the way your mind and body work together, bringing about effective and long lasting changes. As you change your relationship with Pain, suffering will fall away and you will become more peaceful.

This process can also work with mental and emotional pain, anxiety, depression, anger and grief. It is in fact very simple to retrain your mind and feel more at peace, connected and vibrant again.
